It’s Tulsa Time – 24/7
at our Tulsa Data Center

Our Tulsa Data Center is located in the historic Brady district. With a 13-inch reinforced concrete ceiling cap and concrete and steel columns, this structure is built to last. But it’s what’s inside the building that guarantees Perimeter customers a 99.999% uptime.

The building has undergone impressive transformation over the past few years. In 2002, it was being leased by Genuity, which invested millions of dollars in infrastructure upgrades to build out a telecommunications central office. But just as the upgrades were finished, Genuity filed bankruptcy and surrendered the building “as is” to the owner. Perimeter, now owning the facility, took that framework and enhanced it, adding:

  • Raised flooring
  • High availability data communications equipment
  • Network operations center (NOC)
  • Proximity controls
  • Video surveillance
  • Conference rooms
  • Disaster Recovery Office Space

This infrastructure, along with the redundancies provided by our backbone providers, provides Perimeter Technology Center the opportunity to guarantee data center customers with an up-time of 99.999%, and provide telecommunications companies with a carrier-neutral point-of-presence facility.

The 35,000 +-square-foot facility includes:

  • 18-inch raised flooring
  • Carrier neutral telecommunications space
  • Generator, -48 volt battery plant, and fuel storage
  • Office space.
  • Disaster Recovery office space
  • Data Center can accommodate from a single server all the way to a secured caged space.

In addition, the facility has dual fiber connectivity from multiple backbone providers, dual redundancies throughout the internal network, and full power backup systems, including a UPS and diesel generator that will support the entire facility at full capacity

The Perimeter Technology carrier neutral telecommunications space currently houses fiber and/or facilites from nine communications providers: AT&T, Level 3, Cox, Qwest, Verizon/MCI, OneNet, National Lambda Rail, MBO and EasyTel.  Access to these providers "across the wall" allows Perimeter data center clients robust and cost effective private connectivity options.

Perimeter Technology provides a fully secure facility for customers utilizing the latest video and proximity access technologies.  Perimeter also offers full monitoring and management of customer’s infrastructure as well as their bandwidth.
